The kimono fabric design features a series of geometric patterns.
The fabric is a silk woven with a pattern of 'seigaiha', a repeating pattern of waves: originally the pattern used on maps to represent sea. The pattern adds sheen and texture.
This vintage kimono was sourced from the Osaka area of Japan. It is approximately 30 years old.
